Anushka Sharma is a Bollywood actress and producer. She is among the highest-paid actresses, and was awarded numerous accolades for her performances. Anushka Sharma is youngest child of Kumar Sharma (retd.) and Ashima Sharma. She was born in Ayodhya UP on 1 May 1988. Anushka's dad is a colonel-retd. Her mother is also a homemaker. Karnesh Singh, the brother of Anushka and producer of films, served in the Merchant Navy. Anushka completed her studies at the Army School Bangalore. Mount Carmel College Bangalore granted her with a Master of Arts. Anushka has a doctorate in studies in economics. Anushka has always wanted to become journalist or model or an actor, but she never thought of it as a profession. Anushka enrolled in Elite Model Management after graduating in the field and received training from Prasad Bidapa, the stylist consultant. Anushka was selected for the show by Wendell Rodricks as the final model for his Les Vamps Show, which took place at Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. Anushka is now, following her Lakme Fashion Week modelling debut has appeared in campaigns by companies like Fiat Palio Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka started giving auditions for film along with her modelling. Anushka Sharma made her acting debut in the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi featuring Shah Rukh Khan. In order to prepare for the screening test, Anushka Sharma stayed an entire day. After that, she was signed to three films under the Yash Raj Films banner. In the film, she was portrayed as a young lady who got married to a middle-aged man (the part Shah Rukh Khan is playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was seen alongside Shahid Kapoor, Vi Das as well as Meiyang Chang in the 2010 film "Badmash Company". The film received mixed reviews. Anushka appeared in a film called Band Baaja Baaraat with Ranveer who played the role of a middle class who sets up her wedding planning company. It received favorable reviews and turned out to be a sleeper hit. Anushka had signed the contract for three films in partnership with Yash Raj Films.
